The Artist
Ted is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice is rooted in a deep appreciation for classical art. Working as Paradyme from Dresden, Germany, he approaches tattooing as conceptual realism: every piece begins with an idea, and every detail is placed to serve it.
His study of traditional techniques continues to influence much of the work he creates today, from finely observed micro-realistic details to expressive pools of saturated broad strokes. Classical sculpture is a constant reference — the weight of marble, the way light settles across a face, the stillness of a figure caught mid-gesture.
Alongside the figurative work runs a quieter structure of sacred geometry: circles, grids and lines that frame the imagery and lead the eye along the body. Fine-line precision and bold, painterly shading are set against each other, so each has room to breathe.
The deliberate balance between intricate motifs and thoughtfully structured compositions is motivated by harmony and intention. Each design is drawn for the person who will wear it, and for the place on the body where it will live.

The practice
- Conceptual realism
- Every piece starts with an idea. Imagery is chosen for what it means, then rendered with the fidelity of a study drawing.

- Finely observed detail at small scale — the grain of stone, the edge of a feather, the light in an eye.

- Marble figures, busts and fragments return again and again as a visual language of weight, calm and form.
- Sacred geometry
- Circles, grids and fine lines give each composition its structure and guide the eye across the body.
